anyone else have MOP thieves? (self.starbucksbaristas)

the past couple weeks we’ve noticed that a lot of drinks have mysteriously gone missing before the people who ordered them arrived and today a regular saw a kid take her order out to his dad who was pulled up at the curb. has anyone else noticed an increase people stealing drinks??

We have our MOP drinks out of customer reach for COVID safety and we hand them out after the customer gives us their name

We started holding our MOP orders behind the bar, and ask people to tell us their name first.

because of COVID mobile orders are not supposed to be within customer reach. customers picking up drinks trying to figure out if it’s theirs is a safety hazard.

We keep drinks out of customer reach. We ask for their name. I did have one woman reach under the plexi, grab someone’s Frappuccino, drink part of it then walked up to the bar I’m on and told me that her drink was wrong. I asked her what she ordered... IT WAS A HOT DRINK! 🤦🏻♀️
