Tall rant (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by EnvironmentalGur3357
The other day I talked to my manager about changing my availability and only working opening and early mid shifts during the school year. (Side note: I usually close or work late mids and average about 25 hours/week) She said no problem, she understands, and so on.
The schedule for the week before my new availability came out yesterday. I am closing EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, working 40 hours, and will be there the last 2 or 3 hours alone every night. Her reasoning... “I wanted to give you more hours before you left”

Alone.

Dang. So you must work at a licensed store?

Yup. I work at a Target

Because if it’s a company store it’s against company policy for any partner besides the manager to be in there alone. And even that may have changed by now.
