im kidding LOL congrats! just know that it’s completely normal to feel lost the first couple of weeks as there is a LOT of information to digest in a short period of time, so dont be afraid to ask questions, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed. you got this!

The best advice I've gotten so far was in my first week from an SSV, when I apologized for being in the way: "There's only two states of being at Starbucks -- you're either in the way, or on a break. There's nothing else."

Remember that when you feel like you're just in everybody's way. That's not a by-product of being new or useless, it's just a regular state of being. You're always going to be in the way; it's just a matter of learning to adapt to that. You can mitigate it as you get better, but it's never going to disappear completely. Don't feel like you have to apologize constantly or squish yourself into a corner. Take up the space you take up, and learn to be part of the flow.

Honestly don’t feel bad if you can’t get the hang of things quickly. It’s a lot of memorization and most partners remember it being hard for themselves to remember things. If you were already a Starbucks customer before then you should have a better idea than others might have when starting off, but overall it’s best to take your time to learn and not rush to do something quickly. It’s best to learn to do it the right way before learning to do it fast
