is there really supposed to be a happy hour tomorrow?? i though they were cancelled (in the US).. i got a notification on the sbux app that there is one. please don’t let this be true ):

I could have sworn I read on one of our updates that it was cancelled, too. I also got the app notification, and I gotta work tomorrow so I'm not looking forward to the frustration. D:
Edit: I called my store and my co-worker said that there was an earlier one planned this month that got cancelled, but that this one is still happening.

My understanding was they cancelled the first one, and then all subsequent BOGOs just weren’t going to be advertised as heavily.

On one of the weekly communications (either this week or last week) it said something along the lines of “in order to be proactive we have cancelled all happy hours in September but will go forwards with the one planned for August 20th”

correct, i remember reading this! I think this one is going through to see how it’ll be across the board, so if it bombs completely, maybe they’ll hold off on more HHs. I was supposed to be off tomorrow, but I agreed to come in from 2-6 so that way the 3 man play tomorrow can actually take their lunches and not drown. I have experience as a barista to all this madness, so i’m just gonna be on bar instead of doing SSV duties.
