Hey guys, I’m a partner in Canada and I was just wondering if anybody could explain how dates for the benefits work. Like if you qualify for one quarter does it lead you to the next quarter? And how the enrolment dates work? (I just don’t understand why we do enrolment in the middle of a quarter)

The middle of the quarter is to give the benefits people time to make sure everything is in line for the start of the new “year” in October. That’s when benefits start. Once you have enrolled you need to ensure each quarter you work the minimum amount of hours to stay eligible for the next one.

Yes thank you! The only other thing that I need a little more clarification for is, so I lost my benefits last quarter but I know I’ll have enough at the end of this quarter, can I get benefits for the oct quarter or would I have to wait until Jan?

That I’m afraid I don’t know. Your best bet is to call either PRSC or the benefits hotline.
