Why pull so many stickers at once? That will just stress you out more. Just follow the routine and do 2 drinks at a time.

Yes.. Exactly... Id be furious if I was on bar and someone pulled all these damn stickers... That stresses me out even more.

Some of the machines store the orders instead of the computer, and they only have a specific amount of memory. Anything after that gets lost. We had SO many problems with ‘randomly’ losing chunks of orders during peak/happy hour before we figured it out!

Same! Especially with these new label machines they installed haha. But I’m not tripping, it worked for us and we didn’t lose any stickers, just angry people people waiting for drinks/refunds lmaoo

Ok, pull 5-7 at a time, not 30. Those stickers in counter don’t stick very well. They can fall and get lost easily.

If you're divided cold bar/hot bar you kind of have to in order to keep both bars moving. And to separate front and mobile if you're lucky enough to have partners able to staff both.

We have a sticker machine at cold bar and hot bar and for mobiles. But I know that’s not common

We had to pull them out bc our receipt paper machine was not working and we had to find specific orders that were buried under a bunch of names.

I always say this to people. I hate when people pull stickers and label cups and line them up. Not only is it stressful. It takes up space, making drinks gets harder because there’s damn cups lined up and in the way. Things can get out of order and missed. Just don’t do it.

And if you put stickers on the counter, they can just call and get lost since new stickers don’t stick that well

I’ve been working at Starbucks for a week and they assume that since I worked in fast food 2 years prior, Im ready to be let out to the wolves after only one full day of training. Then get mad when we have 15 drinks for Café alone and I can only make one at a time because I don’t know the recipes and everyone wants the most complicated drinks in the world
