Most realistic nightmare I've ever woken up from.
Me on DT: okay, so what size are the mocha cookie crumbles?
Customer: my order is wrong
Me: okay, we'll figure it out. But first what size are the mocha cookie crumbles?
Customer: my order is wrong
Me: okay, what's wrong with it
Customer: it's all wrong
Then I thankfully got so annoyed it woke me up from the dream.

Ooh I’ve got one! I was on POS, and my friend was on bar. A guest comes up and stares at the menu, saying umm for a good ten? Twenty minutes? Like at this point I’m wiping counters, but it’s a slow day so whatever. Finally the guest asks, “Can I have a, umm, unicorn frappuccino?” I literally scream, asking where she sees that on the menu, and that it doesn’t exist and who the hell is she anyways? And then I woke up. My only work nightmare ever and it just made me irrationally angry.

The other day, an older gentleman came through and ordered some frapps for his family and an overly complex Americano, I didn't catch the size and just kept it as a grande to get the rest of his order. Circled back at the end to ask for the drink size and he interrupts me going
"No! No no no no. No, it's not a grande."
"Sorry about that, I was about to ask you the size, what size is the Americano?"
"You know what? Let's just start over."
And he shouted his entire order at me again, the exact same.
"No! No no no no. No, it's not a grande."
"Sorry about that, I was about to ask you the size, what size is the Americano?"
"You know what? Let's just start over."

Omg I’m sorry about this. Hate when your asking one single question when you’ve caught everything else they said and they act like the whole order is messed up/botched.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who has dreams of annoying situations on drive thru (I’m pretty much 90% DTO) I literally wake up pissed off or ready to angry cry and I have to like tell myself calm down you’re home, it’s gonna be ok
