So we’ve been told that we’re going to start implementing the sticker system in our stores over the next few months (our norm is still writing on cups) - our SM tried it out today in a different store and came back saying its stupidly complicated etc.

would anyone like to explain how it works in the states? and whats the best way to work it?? thanks x

Are you asking how to sequence them properly? I’m not sure what you mean.

Fellow UK barista, we started using stickers when we got the new tills and Oracle. My store is used to marking cups so it's quite a big transition, but doable. As you're taking the order, you put the customer's name and drink / food through with exact modifications, and as they pay, the sticker gets printed. The person on bar may feel a bit rushed because they might suddenly get a load of drinks, but if they can listen to the conversation they can start preparing and just put the stickers on the cups after. Major downside is that the mobile orders come through the same sticker machine as well and if you're busy, you may not be able to tell which order was cafe and which was MOP.

Your stickers don't indicate if the drink is "Mobile" or "Cafe"?

Nope, but I wish they did :(

Have your SM look closer at the label routing setup. You should have access to it from both the POS and BOH computer. You *might* be able to fix that in the settings someplace.

At my location we have three labelers: Cafe, Mobile and Warming. The our tickets indicate either “Cafe” or “Mobile” on them.

Omg I've just seen it from my other post, it's indicated on the bottom of the label. *facepalm*
