Coming Back - Cheat Sheets? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by finnjiman
Hey guys, I’m returning to Starbucks after about 9 months away. Does anyone have any simple cheat sheets that I could use to refresh my memory? I remember a good deal of my previous training but I cannot for the life of me remember the syrup pumps for hot vs iced drinks! Any help is greatly appreciated :)

How I got the pumps down is this. Venti has 26 on the bottom on ice cups. So I start with Venti, and make my way down or up. So if it’s a Trenta I know I have to add 1 pump more and grande one pump less. And for hot the same thing. I know it’s 5 so I go up or down. In this case you can only go down with hot cups.

The modules say ice drinks always get one pump more than hot drinks.

I thought just the venti/trenta iced got extra pumps?

you're right! tall hot and iced get 3, grande hot and iced get 4, venti hot gets 5 while venti iced gets 6, and trenta gets 7 :o)

I thought so! Thanks a bunch :)

sure thing! something that helps me to remember is that for tall and grande, the hot and iced are the same number of ounces, but for a venti the hot is 20 oz and the hot is 26. so it's bigger, which is why it gets an extra pump and an extra shot!

No I remember the module specifically giving me a Grande example. Idk why it’s one of the few things imprinted into my brain lol.
