After nearly five years with the company, I made my last latte tonight (SFCDL).
I absolutely cannot handle how morale has fallen so fast and the terrible leadership from the district and above.

We’re expected to be “flexible” with the company but they can’t do the same and allow me time off for a necessary medical procedure. Our DM says it’s out of his hands because company policy doesn’t allow leave right now. But company policy and local law require masks and he makes us serve everyone who comes in without one at the register.

I understand business needs, but I don’t understand how forcing out a seasoned partner over a few weeks of unpaid time off helps the business. We’re so understaffed we’re can’t be open past noon most days.

It is what it is, at least I have enough mark outs saved in my cabinet to last the year. Sionara Siren, and good goddamn riddance.
