What is the “M” box on the milk chocolate sauce for? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Nuhbudyknows
Hey, this might be an obvious question as I’m only a year-long partner and have been learning new, seemingly obvious things about bar for what seems like forever now. But I was inspecting a bottle of milk chocolate sauce (the kind for s’mores fraps) today and noticed that the pump guide in red lettering at the top says M [1] T [1] G [2] V [2]. The T/G/V all make sense of course, but I wasn’t sure about the M as we only sell fraps in 3 sizes — none starting with an M. I thought, maybe, there might be some kind of mocha (M) drink I don’t know about? Or is this the “real” mocha drizzle you’re meant to use in place of mocha sauce? Thanks in advance!

Maybe from when we had Mini size fraps?

That sounds like the perfect explanation! I don’t remember those from my childhood nor were they a thing by the time I was hired at any of my stores, so it makes sense I wouldn’t know ig. Thanks! Mystery solved!

I miss those days, it was just enough for me and I'm 25,

It was for when we have the mini sized frappuccinos. I know in my area we don't do minis - I think we stopped a few summers back (before Happy Hour stopped being just one week straight and turned into random Thursday hell).

Maybe since it's still on the bottle, maybe select areas/locations still carry them or it is an ominous warning of minis to come. Also, the number of pumps for a mini vs a sample cup would not be the same. Minis were 10 ounces and IIRC samples are 3 ounces.

🤷‍♂️ I just assumed it meant for when we sample. Miniature cups 🤣🤣🤷‍♂️
