To the person that decided that it was okay for you to give a grande cup of caramel to some little pimple faced, shit headed tik tok teenager for 70 cents, I sincerely hope that you get fired. My coworkers and I have been HARASSED for the past week by 6 different groups of teenagers (waiting for one of us to break down) to give them a grande cup full of caramel. Drizzles of caramel are 70 cents, not an entire cup. Learn how to do your god damn jobs and stop fucking it up for the rest of us.

I just wanna talk.. like did they squirt it out of the drizzle bottle or right out of packaging? Like what even?
NegativeOccasions [OP]29 points2y ago
I have no idea what they did because when I think about it, a grande cup could probably hold 1-1.5 bottles of the caramel drizzle so at that point they could have just put an entire package in there.

I Commented on the girls video and told her that we won’t do it at tarbucks we have no way to ring it in
NegativeOccasions [OP]34 points2y ago
I just told the kids who keep asking me that I refuse to do that and if I did that they would pay about $10 for it. This is also before I had to kick them out for punching each other on our 1st floor like they were in fight club or something.
alimcc022031 points2y ago
If we do this everyone will run out
NegativeOccasions [OP]30 points2y ago
I wouldn’t mind but I have a deaf customer that’s really rude to us if we don’t have caramel and I’d rather not deal with her lol
sparkytheboomman8 points2y ago
~dark caramel~
kylxrei7 points2y ago
Why is it relevant wether she’s deaf or not? She’s just a rude customer lol her deafness isn’t relevant
bompwa10 points2y ago
I think it's cause it's more difficult to explain, I was working at a new store and we have a deaf regular, I did not consider how difficult it would be to explain we were out of something
NegativeOccasions [OP]8 points2y ago
It’s because it’s harder to explain to a deaf customer when I don’t have caramel and it’s harder for her to tell me what she wants instead. I don’t know sign language and she gets extremely frustrated when we don’t have something for the only drink that she ever orders so she ends up being extremely rude to us
Skeleknight1 points2y ago
There are alot of ways to communicate with a deaf customers. Writing on a piece of paper from pos receipt, expressions/hand gesture [same concepts as playing pictionary], when pointing at things/menu with a simple nod yes/no. Everyone has their own ways whichever is convenient.

When I was covering an SSV shift at another store about six months ago a barista "sold" two teenagers an entire cup of frap chips for whatever the price of adding frap chips is, and then came to me AFTERWARD (before actually giving it to them). I laughed and went to the boys and was like "yeah no, we can't do that. I'm refunding your change" and thankfully they were very nice about it.
NegativeOccasions [OP]18 points2y ago
At least they were nice. The kids here complain and call us bitches and that we are “hating cause they use tik tok”
gingersnap_zuzu18 points2y ago
slap the kids w the caramel noodle
Simplyroro8 points2y ago

NegativeOccasions [OP]6 points2y ago
Not a bad idea honestly 💀
eatdiamonds13 points2y ago
This is how I feel about whoever is at another store in my town “selling” people trenta sized fraps and caramel macchiatos. and then I get the attitude when I tell the customers no
coffeeismymetaphor11 points2y ago
this is happening with a store near mine and I hate it

NegativeOccasions [OP]14 points2y ago
“Then go to them hoes gurrrr”
culture_cypher9 points2y ago
I gotta search for starbucks stuff on Tik Tok cause I dont get any of this shit the kids are doing these days lol
golden_pinky7 points2y ago
Why are people so fucking dumb?
Skeleknight6 points2y ago
You can charge them, "Custom tea". The company announced it a while ago when people went after raspberry syrup in water and a whip cream, which I believe is called, "Hydro Drink". It was "free". To whomever allowed people to get away with that bs, def should be coached on. Apparently it's not easy when noone is watch or taking it seriously. I thought us partners are supposed to have each other's back since we know how it feels to deal with tik tok, or any social medias, and get away with it. We also have to trend carefully tho 🙄 it could backfire hiyaaaaaaa!
NegativeOccasions [OP]6 points2y ago
It’s just so annoying because if I charge them for a custom tea, they’ll complain about how it isn’t 70 cents like it’s “supposed to be.” Plus we are right down the block from a high school and middle school so the kids come in groups of 7-8 and there’s at least 10 groups a day. If I did it for all of them we wouldn’t have any caramel lol
LaurdAlmighty5 points2y ago
We haven't had anyone do it to us yet but I'll charge them for tea and explain policy
