How do I get any tips I may have received? I kind of want to know before I go up to my shift and ask (I dont get anxiety talking to customers but when it comes to my shift I clam up a bit... it's kind of funny). Like how do any of you give abouts in getting tips?

My shift told me to wait until they have the safe open or it it’s not busy & just ask “hey while you have the safe open could I please grab my tips?”

good to know 🙂 so i can safely assume all tips (regardless of digital tips) are in cash?

Yes all cash. Our tips are gathered and calculated every Tuesday and then we just pick up whenever we find time if the store isn’t busy

As a shift myself, if someone asks me for their tips and I don’t have the safe open, I will gladly get it out for them if I’m not busy. Bc we technically only it when were handling cash but that’s only about 2 times a day...
If they stick to that rule about “when the safe is open”, you gotta remind them bc we forget with all the stuff we have to do :)
