I was having a panic attack yesterday morning and threw up (it happens sometimes, my mental health hasn’t been great lately). I called out of work, but I haven’t had any other potential COVID symptoms since. my next shift is on Friday, do I need to test negative before I go back to work?

I believe the COVID coach specifies that your symptoms would be unexplained. You have an explanation for your symptoms.
Also, I too am a stress puker. What’s up.

I don't think you do. I've called out after throwing up, felt fine the next day and gone in without any issues.
Worst case scenario when you do your check in and have a fever they might send you home.

Probably don't need a negative test, but call your manager to discuss your symptoms before going back to work.
You may need to isolate for a period of time, or just wait until you've been symptom free for at least 24 hours. Depends on the details of what's going on.

Honestly, just explain it as you did on here lol. If you know WHY you had the syntom, you're fine.
