My store recently reduced our hours significantly because 70 % of our store is self isolating including the manager and only the openers are available. We posted signs everywhere including the DT screen and window.
Well, today 30 minutes after close we had someone drive up the speaker and sit there for 20 minutes. She called 5 times and started a pile up of 10 cars. Me and another SSV finally got tired of her calling while we were placing the weekly order and went outside.
Her: WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER!!! I NEED TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!!!!!!!
Other shift lead: We’ve been closed for 30 minutes ma’am.
Her: I SEE YOU GUYS IN THERE!! YOURE NOT CLOSED AND THERES NO SIGN.
Me: * points to the 2 signs we have displayed in front of her on board and the big chalk sign in DT that display our hours * you mean those signs?
Her: * huffs and drives away *
Long story short, please read signs that are posted. They’re for your benefit. Don’t be stupid.
