Does anyone know why they discontinued the coffee master program? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I really have always wanted a black apron. So like the title says: why did the discontinue the program?

No clue but they just made the coffee academy program so if you look that up you just sign up for the course (100,200, and 300) and once you finish them all you should be able to get a black apron
It’s online and self paced btw

Wait, does the coffee academy program actually allow you to get a black apron? I heard for ages that it was just a course for fun, no apron involved so I’ve been putting off looking into it.

It’s just been like a week now that you could become a coffee master through it because coffee academy 300 just came out

That’s for licensed stores only

I'm pretty sure it's for anyone who is interested. They opened it up to the public so that customers who wanted to learn could too

Coffee academy is. Getting the black apron is for licensed only.

I still want one, it would complete my goth barista vibe perfectly 😔
