. It hurts that even though you gender me correctly, I am still excluded from "Girls Night Out" plans. It hurts that you feel nothing about saying, "All of us girls will be there" it hurts to feel like I'm invisible. it hurts to hear you talk about how last night with all you girls went. It hurts that I'm not even invited to any of them. I get that I'm not your typical girl. I get that I was born with the body of a male, but please don't exclude me. I just want to be your friend.

IF YOU WERE MY PARTNER I’D INVITE YOU TO EVERY GIRLS NIGHT OUT WE HAVE! I RESPECT YOU AND I RESPECT YOUR TRANSITION! YOU DESERVE TO BE INCLUDED. YOU ARE WORTHY!

I'm sorry love 😞 I understand how you feel 💔 but keep your head up babe there are people that will include you in everything! 💖

I support you and am sending you love! any other LGBTQ+ partners at your store? I prefer queer folk over cis in terms of social interaction, they have always been super supportive of my sexuality and identity and I can be myself ! I'm sorry that bio women can be exclusionary, I'm sure they dont mean any harm but its a bad habit... there are girls out there who would love to have you join a girls night, just takes time!

I'm so sorry that they're making you feel excluded :( if you were my partner I would invite you over every weekend to do fun stuff! I moved and transferred stores about 6 months ago and my new partners have yet to include me in anything so I know how you feel. Sometimes people are just cliquey and rude and there are plenty of people out there who would be lucky to hang out with you! Just remember it's their loss not yours!

FtM here. The baristas at my store would constantly just be like "all girl shift!!" And it would really bother me. I switched shifts bc of it. Now I actually get treated like one of the guys with the guys. I'm sorry that's happening, i know how much it sucks. I was in a group chat with some other baristas im friends with and they would always invite me to girls night and it would upset me

I wish you could work at my old store. We have plenty of trans people who specifically come to work with us. We are definitely includers and take care of our trans family. I had an awesome moment in my store, when I realized I was working a shift, and I was the only straight non trans person and I was so happy that our reputation for loving and caring for people in transition meant that I was actually in the minority.

That's it. We're having a sbux reddit girls night and you're invited 💕

I’m so sorry for your experience. Some partners are just not very including, especially if it’s a clicky store. I’m a cis female barista and I’m the only one at the store (except for SM) that is not invited to any parties or outings with the rest of the partners. Although my experience is nothing like yours and what you are going through is ten times worse, I feel ya, I feel the pain.

If they are unkind enough to exclude you where you absolutely should be invited, you are better off. I know that doesn’t heal the hurt, but you deserve people who validate you as a human and worthy of love! I’m here if you want to talk!

Sounds like it’s a bitch night out more then a girls night out. Need to find a better crowd.

My partners don't invite me to anything in general lol. Mainly it's because they know everyone else better and longer than me. But yeah I kinda feel this.
caetness 3 points 2y ago
Sister, if you are ever in Nashville we will have a girls night SPECIFICALLY for you.
Reah_Industries [OP] 1 points 2y ago
Hahaha I live pretty close to Nashville

Of course you do. Well, what’s your availability!!?!

I’m sorry they’re excluding you, I hate when people do that and more when they work with you. If you were near my store I would ask you to hang out with me. I know the feeling of being left out of everything, I have been at my store for a year and 5 months and my partners have never invited me to their outing and are really open about asking me to switch schedules or take their shift. Head up, you’re better off than with them.

MtF-NB reporting. I know how you feel. For some reason, people can't resist calling me dude. I'm not a dude, and when I get called "sir" by every other customer, it stops feeling innocuous and more feels tiring.
