Could just mean that that store (if that’s what you mean by submission) has decided to not move forward.

A different store that I applied to sent me an email when they decided to not move forward which is why I’m a bit confused. I guess I’ll just call them in a few days and ask.

Most stores won't call you back to let you know they decided not to move forward. When I applied I was contacted by 3 stores out of the 15 I applied to. 2 were interviews, one was letting me know they had already filled their open spot. The other 12 stores gave me no reply.

I applied to a Starbucks and they emailed me. Is that something they do too....? Or do I call and follow up

Lol ok.

I would die for my coworkers, they are amazing.

My job expectations do not currently expect a reasonable amount of work from me.

My nice manager was nice until someone got sick a week after we had already had a covid scare shutdown. I literally listened to them scream that if the ssv went to go get tested, and it's negative and the store shuts down for "no reason" then manager "isn't responsible for what will happen." It was extremely threatening. Its been a week and now that shift is still very sick and too afraid to be tested even though now the story is, well, if you were that sick you should have gotten tested.

Come back and be condescending when your apron starts smelling permanently of sour milk..
