We have a regular who comes in EVERYDAY and orders a venti caramel frappuccino, lightly blended with extra caramel pumps, extra caramel drizzle/extra whip, add vanilla AND mocha syrup (6 pumps each), and light ice. Proceeds to complain its “not blended enough/too little ice and has too much syrup” and we have to remake it until it’s at the consistency it would be without these ridiculous modifications. We literally waste so much time and product because of her and nobody, literally, isn’t even nice about fixing her drink now because of how rude she is. (And if we do make it to the consistency it would normally be at, she complains it’s over blended and asks to have it remade. Then it’s too liquidy and we have to remake it two or three times anyone. She literally is difficult on purpose)

We have a customer like this. We technically aren’t allowed to but my shift manager did it one time and she decided that the drink was suddenly perfect and didn’t need to be remafe

I know it's against policy rn to take back drinks but I would 100% be taking back the wrong ones and washing my hands immediately or make her throw them away while i watch bc it totally sounds like she is just abusing the system that we can't take it back and it needs to get shut down. There's making the moment right and then there's just straight up stealing and abusing our policies

Yep. That’s what my shift told us once she left. She hasn’t pulled a “oh my drink isn’t made right” card again

I think Shifts are allowed to make exceptions about the not taking things back in situations like this where the customer is clearly abusing policy

My district had one of these crazy frap customers. He came in every day and would order a venti java chip frap, 7 pumps mocha, 7 frap chips, no whip, and he literally only wanted milk to the very first ridge. Anyways, he would ask for 3 remakes a day because “it didn’t taste right”. He would make a scene in our store and refuse to leave. Even corporate knew his number because he would complain to them ALL THE TIME.
Long story short, he has been banned for harassing baristas.
See if you can get your rude frap person banned because it’s so worth it lol.
