I would ask to meet with your manager and give them a written notice that states your last day of employment and is signed at the bottom. That way, there’s written proof that you submitted your two week notice and they can’t just be like “oops, we didn’t see it!”

Write a small paragraph basically stating you are putting in your two weeks notice effective immediately. Do it on a computer, print out the paper, and make sure you both print your name and sign it in pen at the bottom.
I was told that they scan/give the paper to the DM and that gets added to your partner info in case you ever want to rehire, as proof that you gave proper notice and everything to make you rehirable.

I've seen a sticky note on the managers desk that said, "its been real, dis my two weeks yo!" The lanager did demand it in writing though.
