This is me as an opener😅

Me too, sometimes my SM used to make me work until 8:30pm-9pm and open the next day.

Aren’t you supposed to have at least 12 hours between shifts?
Dorky_baby [OP] 5 points 2y ago
I think it's 8 hours
[deleted] 6 points 2y ago
Interesting. That’s not even enough time for a full night’s sleep.
Month_Puzzleheaded 3 points 2y ago
That’s what I thought too but when you have open availability it doesn’t matter.
ittybittybakerkitty 3 points 2y ago
I litterally just had a chat with my manager about a clopen I was scheduled for. I changed my availability so it won't happen again
kat833 3 points 2y ago
Mangers try to give you that but I do not think they have to
AppeasetheSiren 2 points 2y ago
When I first started my SM would schedule me as a closer (5-11pm but we wouldn’t get out till close to midnight) and then open on the weekend so I would fall asleep at 1am and wake up 2 to 3hrs later to make it to my opening shift in time 💀

How do closers not get enough sleep?
Dorky_baby [OP] 2 points 2y ago
That's the secret, we don't.
Simplyroro 0 points 2y ago
I close 4 days a week and we dont get out until 1030 ... don't start till 2pm the next day to not get enough sleep isn't a thing unless people don't knownhow to adult and be responsible
