CBS VS HBS (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by coffeebean_04
Hi there! I have a question about drink recipes for certain drinks...

I know that the Strawberry Frappuccino gets classic but I am not sure how much...

I know that the standard for syrups in a Frappuccino is 2/3/4, however is this the standard for CBS? So if I have classic in a HBS, and I am using it to make a Strawberry Cream Frappuccino, would the amount of classic in the drink be 2/3/4?
I am confused since the matcha green tea Frappuccino gets 2/3/4 HBS of classic.

I also have a question regarding the drink recipe for the Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew.
If I am using CBS of caramel, does the drink get 3/4/5 pumps?

I have one more question about the Caramel Frappuccino.... if I am using CBS for the caramel syrup, does the drink get 2/3/4 pumps of caramel?

Thank you so much! :)

1/2/2 HBS of classic for strawberry, 2/3/4 HBS of classic for matcha. Not sure why but the recipes are just like that lol. Any other HBS for a custom frapp or any other frapp is 1/2/2 tho.

For the salted caramel cold foam cold brew, it's 3/4/6/7 CBS pump, 1/2/3/4 HBS pump. VSCCB recipe is the same number of pumps too!

Carmel frapps get 2/3/4 CBS pump, 1/2/2 HBS pump.
Hope this helps!

So for the salted caramel cold brew I can’t remember the syrup pumps for cbs but it’s 1/2/3/4 with the regular pumps of caramel

when using syrups with full pumps on it, you have to use half the amount for cold bar. so instead of doing 2/3/4 pumps of classic, you would do 1/1.5/2. i like to do 1/2/2 just because its easier for me to remember. i hope this made sense! im not that great at explaining things.

and as for the caramel frappuccino, there should be a cbs pump of caramel at your frappuccino station, so it would be 2/3/4 cbs pumps. if you have a full pump or are using syrups from hot bar, it would be 1/2/2.

i hope this helped! im sorry if it didnt

Salted caramel definitely gets CBS but with those same numbers of pumps.

Also 1/2/2 for hot bar pumps of classic in both the matcha and strawberry Frappuccinos are correct, no half pumps.
