from a green bean, i really *really* appreciate all you guys do for us in training. like seriously, thank you for not getting annoyed at the multiple times we’ll ask how to make a drink, even if it’s the same one, and for taking your time with us. i really appreciate it. you guys are like mama bears sometimes too, and while it’s funny it also makes me feel just a bit more secure in what i’m doing. so, yeah! thank you for helping us green beans. it’s probably super hard to train us, but the fact you guys do it without an issue and match our paces with each thing is really admirable.

i felt like i had to make this post because my trainer has been nothing but nice to me, even though i can be awkward at times and always bug her with how to make drinks. i really appreciate her, and so in extension i also appreciate all you trainers as a whole. thank you :)

Oh trust its okay we all start off confused so it’s understandable we are more likely to get annoyed with the Karens that are giving our fellow green beans problems

I just had a trainee quit her second day and I’ve been feeling a little down about it. Thanks for appreciating us 🥺

Barista trainer here. Nice to hear that the green beans feel good about training (at least going off of your experience). Nothing beats that feeling of having your trainee work their first shift with little/no guidance. There is so. much. information. I was trained 8 years ago, and I feel like my process was a little bit smoother than the current? Idk, either way kudos to all the green beans soaking up aaaallll that knowledge in such a short time. Welcome aboard!

As a barista trainer, I am there to support you in any way possible. We’ve all been there with you and even after training feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We always want to see you succeed! My very first green bean just became a barista trainer and omg I was so proud
