There is no policy, your SM is being a mega control freak. My coworkers regularly do this and I do blonde updosed ristretto shots in everything so it's pricy. Ask to see written policy.

Log it with PCC. If they do it again, you can start building history. Don't be shamed by a company because they won't pay you enough. Shame them for being cheap while they claim greatness.

Yeah when I was hired my SM basically told me we can go crazy with the free drink. I think as long as everything is being marked out correctly you’re good.

Yeah you’re definitely allowed to get whatever drink you want. It’s the same as how 150 stars applies to any drink.

As far as I’m aware there is literally nothing in policy about partner bevs. The money isn’t coming out of his paycheck and it’s not like you’re stealing product from the store, you’re ringing it through properly. I would ask your DM next time they’re in and mention the snide comment from your SM but don’t frame it in a way that sounds like you’re trying to tell on them. Do it like “SM mentioned an expensive partner bev I got, it was a ________. They told me not to make it a habit. Just so I understand starbucks policy that states I can’t do that?” something along those lines. So if he does it again you can tell him to fuck himself because you already talked to your DM and they said it was fine (which I’m almost 100% sure it is because I’ve never heard anything about capping the real price on a partner bev)

Continue to get your Partner Beverage with whatever modifications you choose! That’s part of your benefits! And if that SM tells you something, report them! That’s terrible behavior from a SM

your SM sounds like a dick. order whatever you want, the only one that's probably bothered is the person who has to make it. if that's the case either make it yourself (if you can, I know some stores don't allow that) or still order whatever you want because your entitled to whatever drink you want.
