I don’t know who needs to hear this but I still get sad when I see partners on this thread who don’t know...
As partners, we are allowed one beverage and one food markout when we are not working!!! This benefit has been extended through March of 2021!

It was supposed to but even then you would’ve been good until the end of the month think it was moved to September 30th but now it’s March 2021

It’s not in an update per se. I looked it up after I saw it floating on this sub. If you search COVID benefits on the Hub, it should come up.

Unfortunately got charged only 30% off for my drink and food last time I went to a Starbucks on my day off (which was September 1).
Now I can confidently ask for my free food and drink, since I really count on it !

I thought it ended today! Was this on the weekly update? I regrettably didn’t read it. However, I’d rather have an extra hour of labor granted to my team each day than take a free drink and food item home when I’m not working. This has been a grueling 6 months for us.

I completely agree! My team finally got some green beans after months of begging our DM. But the free food and drink is important for our food insecure partners! I don’t want any of us to go hungry

I’ve only been getting a drink when visiting other stores bc they usually charge me for food :(
I’m too nice to speak up so I’ll usually just pay for the food item but I wish this was communicated to baristas more.

also be prepared to provide an ID at some stores! due to the horrid tik tok trend that happened, our manager wants us to be extra safe if we don’t instantly recognize a partner.

Your state ID or drivers license or student ID should be enough proof that you are who you are. I don’t even have my partner ID card anymore

My store next to my house that I go to get my markouts at make me feel like a burden when I was my partner food and drink markouts. I always say I’d like to use my partner markouts and they just don’t say anything back and are even silent when giving me my drinks 😳

I’ve been taking advantage of this. When I have days off, it’s because I go to school, which is across the street from a Starbucks. You bet your ass I use my free food and drink inbetween classes for my lunch!

Does this work for employees of licensed stores? I work at a Starbucks in an Albertsons.

Yes! If you have partner numbers and a valid ID confirming your identity, you are entitled to a free partner beverage and food

Actually in my country 🇧🇭 the company managing Starbucks store allowing us only two drinks per day, but food mark out is strictly not allowed
