Okay but how the fuck are red cups going to work this year? You only get the discount when you use the red cup. We’re not taking personal cups. The red cup is a personal cup. So, are you just going to make people carry around an empty plastic cup they can’t use for 50¢ off their holiday drink after 2pm?
The logical part of my brain thinks Starbucks should skip the red cups this year because it literally doesn’t make sense, but I know that they won’t because they can’t resist that business.

it’ll probably be the same as our personal cup policy is right now-we’re supposed to give them the discount anyway even though we can’t take the cup. it’ll create so much waste and i’m sure it’s going to be an entire day of, “but it’s RED CUP DAY! what do you MEAN you can’t put it in there for me?!”

oh ya know they’re these christmas themed red cups instead of the classic white cups a l l karen’s and teenage girls become obsessed over as soON as they’re released, they are such a huge deal it’s not even funny. to me it’s like those expensive studded tumblers that everyone is reselling rn for like $100 like don’t get me wrong, they’re cute but it’s all just hype
