Realistically, your transfer would be denied. You’ve only been working for three weeks, and I’m 99% sure you at least have to pass your probationary period (three months) before you’d be able to request a transfer. Even then, not liking the store or customers is not a valid reason to request a transfer as far as Starbucks is concerned.

To be honest man, it sounds like the problems you’re having at your new store are not unique. Unless you absolutely hate it that you could not go back one more time, I think you should try it out for more than a week. A lot of people are out of jobs right now and as much as the company and starbucks customers suck, we’re pretty lucky to be employed. Also, the company is cutting hours and staffing and laying people off, so there’s a lot of crap going around. While transfers are *possible*, i just dont know how likely it is or that it’s even the time for it.

yeah, i can understand where you’re coming from. ppl from the old store complain about being understaffed too. it sounds like starbucks is well known for overworking their employees. i also just seriously hate the community around here so i’m also desperately trying to move away

The point that I’m trying to make though is that it’s right now, especially. Just bad times. I used to LOVE working at my store but right now it sucks. And it seems like it’s just like that everywhere.

bad times all around for sure
