Often, when you start at Starbucks (or any new job), you’ll get stuck in the middle of a pay cycle. If you’ve been working there 4 weeks or less, that is likely what happened. You’ll still get your money, you’re just going to have a fat paycheck next pay period.

I believe there's a process with registering the card before you can use it. It should've come to you attached to a paper with instructions for activating the card.

Yeah that’s the thing though, I registered the account w my SSN, name, card info, etc and even after verifying my account by balance was still $0.00 :(

In that case I encourage you to do 2 things:
1. Contact the Partner Contact Center (PCC) or Partner Resources Support Center (PRSC) and try to get in contact with payroll or make an inquiry about your payroll. Both numbers can be found with a simple Google search.
2. I also highly recommend setting up Direct Deposit if you can.
Also did you clock in by writing it in the book or did you clock in using the system? Usually hours recorded on the book have to be manually put into the system by your SM.

I was using the book and sometimes would clock in using the system. I’ll definitely mention that to my manager tomorrow. I am also DEFINITELY setting go direct deposit ASAP, I just didn’t have my account number on me when I was filling out my information.
