The transfer process is determined by how fast the people involved communicate with each other. It could be done within days, likely. You’ll need to contact the manager of the store you’re trying to transfer to and make sure that they have an opening for you, and then emphasize the urgency to your manager if needed. Double check that everyone on the other end is also fully on board with the fact that your move is happening soon, because they will also be alert to the incoming transfer. Good luck!
Edit: I should mention that my transfer process consisted of filling out 1 form, my manager signing that form, and then my DM signing that form and forwarding it to the DM/SM of the store I was transferring to. It got held up for a whole 2 weeks in my case because the DM on the other side was on vacation. Don’t let that happen, if possible, lol...

Definitely what other folks are saying on be proactive and follow up with communicating and checking in. A friend of mine started her transfer (same city) and it took 3mo. Granted this was at the start of COVID but she didn’t follow up and when she did it still took another couple extra months. Good luck!!!

Depends on the scheduling needs of both stores involved. Could be as little as a day or a month.
