Airport Starbucks , we are building new airport so that means new stores we have three in the works but are only opening 2 due to covid . We will officially open on the 15th . Just want to admire our well deserved stores (reddit.com)

Damn that’s a good store. Much nicer than the one I work at. Good luck. I got called back to work a month ago. Currently an airport barista and now quarantine bc I’m getting tested for Covid19 :/. Even if I test negative the Covid test bill and Er bill will be over a month of work. I wish I worked at corporate cause the benefits are way better than hms.

Wow! Curious corporate store barista here, whats it like to work at an airport sbux? How are your peak numbers? Do you ever get huge orders? Do you have mobile orders?

It takes getting used to . Since it’s high volume there isn’t much room for error . Our peak numbers before covid where 75-80 per half hour for our busiest store and 45-50 for our baggage claim and daily sales where 8500-9500 during this time of year for the busier of the two and about 5000 for the other one . But know due to covid we are making about 5500-6500 a day and since they aren’t letting people congregate in the baggage area that store is going about 1000 a day

It summer we where doing 10,000+ in the busy one . And our plays where usually 2 cashiers one pastry case on customer support one cold beverage 2 bar . One hand off and two managers at the am shift since that’s when most of our sales came from
