Yes it’s horrible. I quit a few days ago. I was a rehire and I knew from the moment I was there that it would be a bad experience because there was gossip from day one. No thanks.

My job before this was never that bad. And even though there was some tension between openers and closers it was never this bad. And even at that job there was way more work to be done.

My store is like that and I hate it. In my entire time with starbucks I only worked in like 2-3 stores that didn’t have that problem. My current store is probably the worst at it.
I just wish people would just talked to the people they have an issue with instead of trash talk every shift and do petty shit at work to piss off the morning crew.

My last store was like this too and its super uncomfortable especially since some baristas would talk badly about the customer and their drink right in front of the customer
