a really creepy semi-regular comes in the other day. the last time he came in i was alone on the floor and while i was turned around making his frappuchino he kept talking quietly about how little i am and “can’t defend myself”.... anywho

he asks for... half of a (hot) pumpkin spice latte, half of a salted caramel frappuchino... in the same large cup..
i clarify with him that the latte will melt the frap and he goes “i know what i’m ordering.” so ok whatever.

i charge him for a tall of each drink with a note to put it in one cup and he getS PISSED. “why is it $10??? it’s one drink it should be like $6???” sir it’s two drinks but in the same cup. “exactly so it’s ONE drink” no, it’s still two drinks. you want a salted caramel frap and a pumpkin latte, two different recipes. “every time i order this it’s been $6 they’ve made it for me like i’m asking” who was the last person to ring this up for you? “YOUR manager. who has more authority than you.” oh cool, do you want me to go get him then to clarify everything? “.... yeah sure.”

i bring out the manager who says and i quote “nice try.”
