Silently Removing Block Scheduling? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Kitten_Monger127
I never would have thought to do block scheduling but I think it's a good precaution. Now it seems that they're slowly removing it and not really telling us? Like I worked a bit into b block today. And a b partner told me he works in the morning next week... Why are they removing this precaution and not telling us? Is anyone else experiencing this?

i was recently told that if there is 48 hours between your shift on one block you're allowed to work a different one

Interesting. They need to be more clear about this stuff.

Block scheduling was never a mandatory thing. It’s store by store basis. My store never did it because none of the partners wanted to do it. Nobody wanted to lose hours and if we were to do it, we would’ve needed to hire more people because of partners availabilities.
