Went home early third day of training (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m newly back from disability for a year and so have to do retraining. It was my 3rd day of retraining today and I got really sick to my stomach with diarrhea and I told my lead and she sent me home. I feel so worried what my manager will think/feel. Any thoughts?

You got sick, don't sweat it.

If your lead/SM wants to be a dick about it that's on them, not you.

The manager overseeing my store while my manager is away said I did the right thing and I have a doctors note. I’m just afraid of my new manager. I can’t be written up if I have a doctors note and the shift sent me home and I was approved my the overseeing manager right?

You followed the instructions you were given. You've got nothing to worry about. If anyone were to get in trouble in this situation it's be the kne who sent you home, but there's no way.

Most baristas wouldn't have gotten a Dr's note.

I’m just worried what my actual manager will think. I got back from a year’s LOA and I leave early on my third day because of food poisoning? It just worries me. It’s not my fault I got sick I know that. I was leaking into my boxers for crying out loud but I’m still nervous af. They can’t do anything to me can they?
