how do i file a report against my coworker? (self.starbucksbaristas)

a coworker of mine is making the work environment for myself and one other employee hostile. i kept putting reporting it off, as for a while it was just passive aggression, but today it reached physical aggression when he intentionally slammed into me doing inventory despite there being more than enough room to go around me. how would i go about filing a report against him? i’m really not comfortable talking to my manager about it and would much prefer directly filing a report against him, since it’s past the point of a simple reprimand.

You can call the PRC and ask to file an incident report. But all they’re likely to do is fill out a report and forward it to your manager to handle.

It does also get sent to your DM, so they'll be alerted to the situation also, and will surely have questions for your manager. But yeah, there's no good way in the company's structure for this to get handled by anyone other than the local management, so the response will be proportional to their quality as managers.

I would definitely talk to your manager just so they have an idea of whats going on. Especially if they haven't heard anything about it. They may be able to help and just going over your sm's head might make things worse or just not as good as it could be considering any report you make will just go right back to your SM. If something like that was happening at my store, i know my sm would wanna know and help fill out the report probably
