I am so tired of partners, those working, on leave, and friends of partners coming in and acting like they have more leeway to get what they want. If something doesn't go their way or they don't like it, they like to play the "well we don't do that at our store." That's fine and good if things are done differently at different locations with different managers, shifts, baristas, situations, limitations, etc. We all know things run out or break down, and that goes for materials and people because it can get to that point of being fed up and tired but you keep going. But it hurts more when people who claim to be in the know aren't acting considerate

All of us who are experienced on bar have our quirky go-to drinks. It’s fun to mix things up, shake up nitro with milk and classic syrup, add kiwi to create abominations, make espresso foam, etc.

But going to another location and asking for all those extra-as-hell quirks we love can be downright rude. I don’t really care if you want coffee cake bits in your frap and your husband does it at his location, I can’t do that.

You’re too right—It sucks that sometimes our distant coworkers can be more difficult customers too.
