My store’s lobby is opening soon, and I was looking into wearing a shield with my mask; however there are rumblings that my manager is against face shields being worn.
Is there a specific policy that states that the company doesn’t allow face shields?

Quite the opposite actually, I read in a weekly update that Starbucks was going to start offering face shields for the partners as optional extra wear on top of masks
