I hate when mobile orders come in for their cloud that’s been sitting half an hour then get mad as fuck bc they don’t understand the science behind aeration.

Same goes for no foam psychos. Lol

I get irked, when I would make this beautiful cloud, consistency, my cross hatch, everything. Damn near perfect.

Then they ask for a straw.

Then complain it’s not as sweet as they remember.

Funny story, but I worked at SBUX for almost exactly a year to the date.

The cloud drinks had been about for a while when I started, and when I was being trained, I was never taught how to do them. Anyways, whenever I was asked to make them while on bar, I was always soooo confused and never had any clue. My first few times, since I didn't realize the difference, I accidentally made them with vanilla sweet cream foam - oops!! Long story short, even up until I left, I always get confused with basically all of the foams/clouds/etc., so I completely understand where you're coming from.

tip: measure milk to first line in the cup for easy prep for cold ones. i can never get right in the blender + i always spill milk lol

Idk what I do, but I somehow make amazing cloud macchiatos... All I do is follow the recipe card? Though it is v annoying when customers mobile order a hot one and expect it to be iced. 100/150/200 mL 2%, 1/2/3 full pumps of vanilla, 2/3/4 *LEVEL* scoops of cloud powder. I feel like you have to be very particular when it comes to these ones. Once I started getting the foam down I kinda enjoyed making them. But hopefully they don't add anymore... That would be suck.
