Oh my god..your comment gave me a flashback to when I was on DTO and this man came through and he literally asked if he could get his coffee at « a million degrees ». I like most people- laughed because I thought he was joking...this man was not joking.. and in fact was dead serious. I had to tell him that our steamer couldn’t go that high and after a certain temperature it’s considered a burn hazard...he was disappointed and a little upset that we couldn’t steam it at a million degrees. And just ended it with « I just want my coffee hot. I like it hot hot. » and proceeds to proceeds to pull through. Like I’m sorry. You couldn’t possibly hold a coffee that hot let alone consume it. Plus you really think a barista will have the equipment available to actually produce that? Most of the time our store can’t even get proper sandwich bags.

I have always told people this line “ just to let you know, we don’t offer 1% kill so we will have to mix Nonfat and 2%. “. I never mix them. I used to I’m the very beginning but I realized that IT DOESNT FUCKKNG MATTER!! They CAN NOT tell the difference.

You are right, but the problem with this is that it wastes time on bar... Like, fine, if you're ordering it outside of peak. But mixing half 2% and half nonfat during a rush consumes an unreasonable amount of production time for the barista for a taste/fat content that is negligible.
