Can my manager deny my request for a transfer based on the hours I work? She said that she can’t transfer me right now because she won’t have someone to work my hours but she’s accepting transfers like how does that even make sense

I got told I couldn't transfer because it would be paralytic to store operations. I call bullshit because I've got open availability and yet get between 23 and 27 hours a week. Im a 14 yr partner and ssv but this 153 has about had it.

A transfer request is a request. It can be denied if your manager decides it’s necessary.
If they’re already accepting transfers, then it sounds like there are hours that they need to fill before they worry about finding someone to replace you.
