Not that there aren't lazy people in morning shifts, but how about blaming the company for cutting labour to the point that doing anything other than making drinks is often impossible instead of creating opener-closer rivalries.

It feels like that. I end up staying behind 20 minutes just to make sure my lovelies are stocked. Deliberate understaffing sucks ass.

Maybe it's because I'm a new hire but I've found myself looking at the chaos at the end of my shift and looking at my SM and being like "are you sure it's ok for me to go?" Like I don't want to leave anyone to struggle

Yeah me today when my shift asked me what time I was off and it was almost 15 minutes after my shift ended. They didn’t have anyone schedule to come in when I was leaving and we were slammed.
