Medicine ball with espresso shot?? 🤢🤢 (self.starbucksbaristas)

Im watching old GMM episodes at the moment and came across an episode where they talk about their favorite Starbucks drinks and I suddenly remembered something awful. when I used to work at Starbucks I had a customer interaction like this:
Customer: my husband wants a medicine ball with a shot.
Me: like a shot of honey?
Customer: let me ask... *comes back* no, espresso shot.
Me: okay I’ll have it right out.
...
Me: hands of drink.
Customers Husband: *immediately takes sip while it’s flaming hot* it’s perfect thanks.
Me: you’re welcome 👁👄👁
I was quaking I think that is probably the most disgusting thing I’ve ever made. It tops even the 40 classic teas we used to have to make.
My favorite drink however is a hot soy matcha latte with two pumps of white mocha. Sounds so good right now.

You know, its funny that you mention this, because I seem to remember someone who would order the same thing too.
Sometimes I wonder if people know what they're ordering, or if they just think "Starbucks is a coffee place, my friend says (insert drink name here) is good, I'll add coffee to (insert drink name here) since it is a coffee place and all drinks must be coffee."

I've seriously wondered over the year I worked there. One time, someone asked for steamed peach juice in their drink - YUCK!!!! (and why?)....
