1. A women came in with her child who is old enough to speak and walk on his own so i handed her a mask to put on her child and she threw it at my face and proceeded to grab her child by the arm and stormed out of the store.
2. These 3 women came in and then they ordered one cotton candy frappuncino and two venti iced caramel macchiatos. Ive worked at this company for 2 years and have yet had someone order a cotton candy frappuncino at my store. So i explained its not a menu item so unless she has the recipe i have no idea how to make that for her. She pulls it up on google and she told me its a tall vanilla bean cream w one pump of raspberry. I make all 3 drinks and the lady goes oh this was supposed to be pink..... YOU ONLY TOLD ME TO PUT 1 PUMP OF RASPBERRY. She ignores it and continues to drink it just fine. Then the other two who ordered the macchiatos said it tasted too bitter?? Okay fine i understand that, so i tell them ill remake it for them and then they just start talking shit about me “idk why but everytime we come here these people are so rude” i dont say anything and continue my best to make their drinks correctly and they eventually like what i made and then they ask for straws and i explain to them that the lids are straw less thats why i only gave you one for the frappuncino. AND SHE ASKS ME TO MIX THE DRINKS FOR THEM.
Thats not even the full story but im fed up and dont even wanna remember these people

The cotton candy frappuccino used to be pink when raspberry was a colored syrup, so they haven't ordered it in a long time, either!

She said she orders it all the time back at home in Massachusetts and its really popular over there! But this is not Massachusetts....

But also don't cause the fruit gunks up the blender and then people expect it to be pink cause they JUST SAW IT on Instagram and it was pink

The moms reaction was ridiculous but.... Just cuz the kid can walk and talk doesn't mean he can wear a mask. My one year old walks and says words but he's just 12 months and it's unsafe and frankly impossible for him to wear a mask. My two year old, well, it's a work in progress. I always ask him if he wants to wear it. You can't force a kid to wear one and it's not that big a deal if they are parenting properly and keeping him close.
I've been in a similar situation and it's frustrating tbh. I can't leave my kids at home, I have no choice, and you can't make a baby/toddler wear one. That's not how it works.
Anyways keep that in mind if you see another cranky, angsty mom who just wants her coffee lol

So you mean to tell me that bc you KNOW how your child is and wont wear their mask even though they are old enough to get covid and spread it, they can just walk into a store without one??? I know children can be difficult but why dont you think of your own child’s health and dont bring them to starbucks during a pandemic. And regardless, i wasnt forcing the child to wear a mask, i saw his mouth on the trash can so i gave her one to put on him so he wouldnt do that. If i saw a struggle i wouldnt have denied service. I know its not that simple but thats how things are currently so you have to find a way to adapt.

Thats my entire point dont go to place with you baby if you dont HAVE to go. Why go to starbucks if your child isnt old enough to wear a mask???
