If you just want me on front & to check coffee, say so. If you put me on CS, I'm going to check fridges & ice bins, do high touch area sanitizing, take the overflowing trash out, check the bathrooms, do dishes, etc. There is shit that needs to get done and you assigned me CS, so god knows no one else is going to do it when there's a CS person, so then don't get pissy when I go "missing" because I was DOING MY FUCKING JOB. If you see me replacing the trash bags right next to you, obviously I am going outside real quick right after that!! Jfc. Was so happy when another coworker clocked in so they could front while I just did CS.

Edit to add: Honest to god surprised this store hasn't failed health inspections considering every single morning peak (when health inspections love to come, y'know) we have god awful nasty sani waters, spills everywhere, overflowing trash, etc. :/ SMs & SSVs, you NEED to take CS more seriously when play calling! Even from a customer's perspective, I'd rather wait longer to get rung up and know that the person who said "I'll be right with you" is taking the time to wipe down a mess then wash their hands, than to get rung up but have my drink made in a filthy environment.
