I was supposed to be one this year. Won store level and was informed it was cancelled due to COVID. Then I ended up walking out so it’ll never happen for me anyways.

Not much to hear. My coworker got into a really nasty dangerous situation at home and over the past year we made several plans for several different outcomes with an off the wall drop everything and run for it theoretical escape plan for her. Well situation blew up, police raided their house due to her partners bad choices, my name was also implemented in the discovery that led to the raid so we both dropped everything and ran.

Lol well honestly as climatic as the rundown sounds it wasn’t that crazy. In the moment it felt like a huge adrenaline rush, but in all honesty everything went absolutely perfect and smooth when it could have gone so so bad. We parted ways, I stayed in one state she went to the other when things settled down a bit. I’d do it all again just to know 100% her and her kiddos were safe.
