I was an opener my first year. Second year I was a closer. My last year I was an opener again.
I can attest that openers have no idea how hard closing is. They don’t realize that if you just help a little, the closers will be able to do more for you.
Closers think mornings are easier, but it’s still difficult. Some rushes can get hectic really fast and you end up playing catch up all the time.
I learned that everyone needs to stfu and stop complaining. Both sides have it hard. But openers, seriously, if there are moments where you have a spare 2 minutes, wash a damn dish. Those few minutes add up.
If you don’t wanna do that, that’s fine. But then don’t be so demanding of your closers.

I feel, except opening shift at my store always gets 4-6 people including shift while closers always have 2-3 including shift.
It has been making me become so petty.
