I really love this interpretation of “Bold and Brash”.. the medium of the sweet caramel drizzle on the cold countertop, sprinkled with the bitter yet energizing espresso beans really evokes an emotional connection, from the artist to the viewer. It is balanced, yet the rhythm carries your eyes through the piece.. the colors are warm, inviting, luring you into a sense of calm despite the erratic lines of the work. The energy against the cold.. the sweetness against the bitter.. this is their best work yet.
