I have been hand washing dishes for the past two weeks because our Hobart decided to overheat and is now not working :) anyone got tips for washing dishes fast and efficiently?

Rinse them in the middle sink before washing so you don’t go through as much wash solution. Always use the dish wand to blast off most everything then soak in the wash compartment for a few minutes before rinsing with wand again.
I prefer hand washing to the machine. It’s faster IMO.

The biggest tip is to not let them pile up so you have huge loads to do.
However, I would throw them in the wash sink and let them soak for a bit while you do another task, and then come back to rinse and toss in the sanitizer. That way whatever is on them has time to rinse off or soften if it’s crusty stuff and you don’t need to spend as much time scrubbing them.

Use the rinse station & use the spray wand to quickly 'scrub' off date dots & extra liquid (like the extra mocha at the bottom of the container), use the wash station to toss everything in & soak it while you go do another task. Return & rinse off soaked items, then toss in sani water. Go do another different task while it sanitizes (great second to grab a bucket of ice or other small task), put dishes up to air dry.
