well, former partner here. i was forced out during the pandemic purge and i was notified that i got a package today and this was in it. i honestly don’t know what to say. has this happened to anyone else? i feel like this is a punch to the face. (i.redd.it)

The idea is sooo thoughtless imo. Unless you’re management and got your own office to display a company plaque in then yeah I kinda understand where this is coming from (but let’s be honest.. management probably gets a lot more than this). Also, tbh, if I ever got one and if I had to display it, it’d probably displayed in the family room or in my bedroom where visitors cannot see it hahaha!

My husband works for a different company but was in the same situation and got a 5 year plaque. If you tug on the glass it opens up, take out the shitty starbucks paper and use it as a picture frame!

You only get lifetime numbers after working for 10 years AND when you leave Starbucks for retirement. If you're not quitting to go into retirement you don't to keep your numbers for life.

Yes they are. There's a semi-regilar at my store who is retired and has them. You get the 30% dissount and the weekly markojt but no free food or drinks.
In order to get them you have to 1. work for the company for 10 years without a break and 2. you have to leave to go into retirement. So if you start working there at 20 and leave 10 years later you won't get them; but if you start working there at 44 and quite when you're 55 and go into retirement then you'll get them.

Talk to them in person. Sorry to say, but sticky notes are definitely not an effective form of communication. Just keep asking them for it too. Managers have a lot on their plate, and tend to forget things that arent immediately solvable. They also have to order the pins, so writing it on your store order board or asking them near an order day might help.

Wow. Three year company partner (who recently quit within the last 3 months). I cannot describe the amount of anger and grief towards the treatment of the partners themselves. It’s unbelievable, the amount of work and mistreatment partners go through on a daily basis. I have been done for three months and it is almost indescribable the amount of happiness I’ve have from quitting. After three years. I’m no green bean to this shit. I have seen numbers and info; you will not get more labor. You will not. Stop trying to earn higher numbers and labor. Your higher ups will only take the bonus and /literally/ nothing will go towards you.
