I've been a partner for just over 3 years now and I'm really confused on corrective actions. So back ground I struggle with mental health issues pretty severely especially depression/ anxiety. I was so depressed last winter nov- feb that I dont remember it much, like I only remember a few days here and there. Because of my depression I was late a few times and my manager was super graceful and understanding, helping me get appointments and everything. My meds were working great and I was late by 30 minutes today to an early shift because of a migraine that I had the night before. Im normally a closer so being at my store at 8am is hard and idk why im scheduled that. Regardless I was late, to my understanding is you have a conversation, a documented conversation, and then a final conversation or a write up. It was also to my understanding that you have 3 write ups before you get fired unless its severe like stealing money. Am I incorrect? My current manager (different from the one who helped me) says that the documented conversation counts as a write up and that ive been written up 3x and I was on my final but shes giving me another chance. Im really confused because this isn't how it was explained to me or how any of my other stores handled write ups/ corrective actions. Im planning on talking to PCC but I want some outside input first.
